Välkomna till en stämningsfull milonga på Tango Bristol i en unik historisk miljö. Den 30 januari öppnar vi dörrarna till anrika Bio Bristol i Sundbyberg för en kväll där alla är välkomna, oavsett nivå.
Biografen invigdes nyårsafton 1939 och fungerar idag som en levande kulturscen. I den vackra salongen dansar vi på ett stort trädgolv under läktarens rader av biostolar.
Tango wrestling:
Gör er redo för en milonga utöver det vanliga. Den 20 februari förvandlas Bio Bristol till en arena för Tango Wrestling. Under ledning av den gåtfulla Doctor Misterio ställs två giganter mot varandra i en musikalisk uppgörelse vid DJ-bordet.
Kvällens match: La Sombra Roja vs. DJ Esmeralda Kampen utspelar sig över tre intensiva ronder:
Rond 1: Traditionell tango.
Rond 2: Alternativ tango.
Rond 3: Valfri stil – allt är tillåtet.
Det är publiken som agerar domare. Ni avgör vem som står som segrare när dammet har lagt sig. För att hålla energin uppe före och efter drabbningen har vi den eminenta DJ Klaudia bakom musiken.

Inträde: 100 kr (80 kr för pensionärer och studenter). Betalning sker på plats via kort, Swish eller kontanter.
Anmälan: Ingen föranmälan behövs.
Bra att veta: Snacks och dryck finns att köpa. För att vara rädda om vårt trägolv påminner vi om att ta med dansskor för ombyte.
Lokalen är tillgänglighetsanpassad med rullstolshiss och särskilda platser.

Welcome to an atmospheric milonga on Tango Bristol in a unique, historic setting. On January 30th, we open the doors to the classic Bio Bristol in Sundbyberg for an evening where everyone is welcome, regardless of level.
Originally opened on New Year’s Eve in 1939, Bio Bristol is now a vibrant cultural hub. We will dance on a spacious wooden floor in the beautiful main hall, surrounded by the cinema’s historic architecture.
Tango Wrestling:
Get ready for a milonga unlike any other. On February 20th, Bio Bristol transforms into an arena for Tango Wrestling. Under the guidance of the enigmatic Doctor Misterio, two giants face off in a musical showdown at the DJ booth.
The Main Event: La Sombra Roja vs. DJ Esmeralda The battle unfolds over three intense rounds:
Round 1: Traditional tango.
Round 2: Alternative tango.
Round 3: Free of choice – anything goes.
The audience acts as the jury. You decide who stands victorious when the dust settles. To keep the energy high before and after the clash, the eminent DJ Klaudia will be behind the music.

Admission: 100 SEK (80 SEK for seniors and students). Payment is accepted at the door via card, Swish, or cash.
Registration: No pre-registration required.
Good to know: Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. To protect our wooden floor, please remember to bring dance shoes for changing. The venue is fully accessible with a wheelchair lift and designated spaces.

Tango Bristol
Argentine Tango is a deeply intimate, improvised social dance originating from the late 19th-century immigrant neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Unlike the dramatic ballroom style, it focuses on a close embrace, walking, and intense connection between partners. Recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, it is defined by musicality and improvisation rather than set patterns.
